Man, Pen is having a double shot of good news today as not only has Adventure Time’s “Princess Cookie” episode made it into Annecy, but so has the premiere episode of his Cartoon Hangover show, Bravest Warriors. Pen’s competition in the category of TV Series is pretty tough, though, even not including himself. Good luck (x2) in June, Pen.

The Bravest Warriors Are Heading to France

To Annecy, specifically, as “Time Slime” has been nominated in the TV Series category in this year’s Annecy International Animation Festival. With a total of 27 nominees, the competition is pretty fierce, but we’re thrilled to be in such wonderful company. Hats off to Breehn Burns, Pen Ward, Will McRobb, Chris Viscardi, Jason Johnson, Tom King, and the entire Bravest Warriors cast and crew. Take Sunday off, and best of luck when the awards are handed out in June.

Princess Cookie Is off to Annecy

Congratulations to Pen, Pat, Kent, Tom, Skyler, and Larry, along with the rest of the Adventure Time cast and crew, as “Princess Cookie” is in the TV Series category in this year’s Annecy International Animation Festival. The category includes 27 nominees and we’re jazzed to be among them. Awards are handed out this June in, where else, Annecy. Good luck, everyone.

Kelly and Her Well-Deserved Buttercup

We haven’t mentioned lately how extremely fortunate we - and everyone involved with Adventure Time - are to have Kelly Crews as the show’s producer (and since the series’ very start, too). She’s been such a red-head rock of support, it only makes sense Cartoon Network would award her with the 2012 Jennifer Davidson Spirit Award.
